Here’s some first-hand insight!

❓ How many stages are there in the Google hiring process?

There were 3 main stages beyond the initial screening:

  1. Application Submission: You submit your CV and cover letter through the Google Careers website.
  2. HR Screening Call: A recruiter contacts you and schedules an initial phone interview.
  3. Phone Interview with a Manager: One of your potential future managers interviews you.
  4. Final Stage – 3 Interviews (In-person or via Hangouts): I had interviews with 2 future managers and 1 interviewer from a different department.

💬 What’s the interview like? What do they ask?

You’ll be asked about the role and responsibilities. You need to clearly demonstrate the value you’ll bring and show that you understand how Google operates and generates revenue.
